SPARKY CLARK aka Merrill is extremely versatile, gritty, full of heart, quick, gentle, sure-footed, and will do anything you ask. ️He is a tough solid gelding that can go any direction you want. He is amateur and experienced youth friendly. He has a friendly disposition, is easy to shoe, honest, and is fun to ride.
Merrill is quick on fence turns, is a push button lead changer, and has a huge stop. He’s not only experienced in the show pen but has been used in all aspects on our family ranch from sorting cattle, branding, and trailing cows to the mountains.
He has been used for breakaway, heel horse, steer stopping, ranch calf roping, barrels, poles, English, reining, trail, ranch riding, western pleasure, and flag carrier at National High School Rodeo. He’s been to AQHA youth world show, youth world’s greatest horsemen challenge and national high school rodeo.
Merrill is an all-around gelding he was awarded 2024 AQHA year end high point youth and Level 2 youth exhibitor of the year. He was third in reined cow horse at Wyoming High School Rodeo and national qualifier. Merrill won the NILE in Billings Montana Versatility Ranch Horse youth all-around.
