Kick The Dust Up, “Luke” as he is known by, will be offered to the public through the Van Norman and friends Production Sale, Sept. 14, 2024. He will be lot 54.

Luke has earned over 20K! He is strong on a rope and his offspring have been a treat to brand off of this spring. They have the neatest personalities, great dispositions, and so much try.
Luke is a proven and competitive cow horse, great to rope off of, but can also be used as a breeding stallion. He is a unique package. He is great for everyday ranch work, water, etc. He is kind, has great manners and is suitable for an Open or Non Pro rider.
Luke is our first stallion we have kept for breeding. We own his great mother Kickback Nic, and we feel she is the type of mare you build a program around. She has 50K in NRCHA earnings and her offspring have 120K in NRCHA earnings so far.
He is flawlessly made and with three foal crops on the ground, his progeny possess his clean head and neck with stunning conformation. They have great withers, long legs, and are smooth movers. They have a ton of stop, can still run hard, are quick footed and breathe working cows. We attribute these traits to his mother.
It is been a tough decision, however he is very closely related to many of our mares and we have retained daughters of him as well. He is something very special to us and we are excited to see who gets him and where he goes!
